2. new Tour: Fireflies night Tour

If you’ve been to Puerto Princesa or Bohol, you may be thinking, “Ugh, one more firefly watching tour.” however it is different.

Calling it a Firefly watching tour is a disservice to the genuine stars of the night: the bioluminescent plankton. Sure, there were countless fireflies swirling around mangrove branches, however the shimmering plankton stole the show!

The evening began with a buffet dinner on a floating restaurant near the mangroves, after which we hopped onto a 3-person kayak. 3. Neue Trek: Mt. Darala

Es ist nicht wirklich neu. Bergsteiger haben den Mt. Darala, der höchste Gipfel der Insel Busuanga, schon lange erobert. Wir konnten nicht klettern, seit sie in den ersten Tagen unseres Besuchs regnete, aber Einheimische erklärten, es gibt zwei Methoden, um seinen Gipfel zu erreichen: Mabentanger Weg sowie Balinsunganpfade, wobei letztere schwieriger sind. Obwohl sie feststellen, dass es ein kleinerer Aufstieg ist, werden beide Tracks gegen Ende steil. Von der Küste bis zum Gipfel dauert die gesamte Reise etwa 3 Stunden (Einweg).

4. Neue Cafés: Fika-Genuss, Kaffeekong sowie La Morena Cafe

Nach meinem ersten Blick auf Coron, ich kann es nicht unterstützen, es mit El Nido zu vergleichen, und ich denke daran, dass ich, während ich die Vielfalt der Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten in Coron mochte, das gleiche nicht über seine Lebensmittelszene angegeben werden kann . El Nido hat nur sehr viel mehr hervorragende Entscheidungen in dieser Abteilung.

Diesmal glaube ich jedoch, dass Coron El Nido einen Lauf für sein Geld anbietet. Es gibt überall neue Restaurants, die meisten von ihnen spezialisiert auf gegrilltes Fleisch sowie Meeresfrüchte. Was ich jedoch wirklich entdeckt habe, waren die neuen Cafés, die für digitale Nomaden wie mich himmlisch gesandt werden können. Ich bin nicht sicher, nur wenn diese Cafés eröffnet wurden, aber ich habe sie sicher nicht vorher bemerkt. Es gibt den gemütlichen koreanischen Kaffee-KONG, der ihr unterzeichnendes Espresso dient, sowie auf dem zweiten Stock des Gebäudes in der Nähe des FIKA-Ingulgence-Cafés, der ebenfalls eine reiche Auswahl an Mahlzeiten sowie Desserts serviert. Nicht so weit entfernt von diesen ist das La Morena Cafe, das eine Mischung aus Pinoy sowie westlichen Gerichten sowie riesige Portionen von Obstbrust sowie Smoothies bietet.

Wir hatten im La Morena Cafe zu Mittag gegessen. Wir bestellten diese Meeresfrüchte-Teigwaren sowie ein riesiges Glas Melonenshake.

Zum Glück hat Montenegro Fastcraft im September 2016 eine neue Route von Coron-el Nido (und umgekehrt) eingeführt, die die Reisezeit auf nur 4 Stunden schneidet. Sowie gut, da es ein größeres Gefäß ist, sollte die Reise komfortabler sein.
